I think something I've been learning recently is that being holy doesn't just mean NOT doing things that are sin. A lot of times we can justify doing any number of things because the Bible doesn't specifically say this is a sin or the God's Word doesn't say anything on the subject. And normally its easy to get into a discussion on what is and isn't permitted us by our "freedom in Christ". But lately I've realized that too often I don't do what I KNOW God clearly tells me I should be doing, such as honoring Him above all things in my life, feeding the hungry and poor, doing justice, extending mercy and grace, loving my neighbor and even my enemies, not just with words or tongue but in deed and truth. Am I making those things a priority? Am I making God a priority or am I more worried about having fun?
